(Atlhough, The Weapon Mod has a sound folder as well, not sure if that helps at all. One person has painstakingly retextured a lot (but not all, no mod does it all) New Vegas.

So, whenever I go to put the folders inside the Data Folder, it wants to replace the other mod's textures, The problem is that the texutres don't appear for the Classic Weapon mod, I think it's because both of these mods have Folders named Textures and Meshes. I have two mods installed The Wasteland Soldier Armor Mod & and the Classic Fallout Weapons mod.
